Mercha
Mercha started as a branded merchandise supplier and needed to grow into something bigger: a platform that helps teams order, manage, approve, store and distribute merch at scale. Incept has worked across the website, Mercha Hub portal, use-case pages and a reusable newsletter system to give the business the design infrastructure to tell that story.

Client & Brief
The original Mercha website communicated the product offer well enough. What it didn't do was explain the full platform story: what Mercha Hub is and why branded merchandise is easier to manage at scale through Mercha than through a fragmented mix of suppliers, spreadsheets, and email threads.
The brief evolved across several connected projects. The core challenge stayed the same throughout: move Mercha from a product-led merchandise supplier to a clearly positioned platform that helps teams manage branded merch with more control.

Solution
1. Website strategy, UX and UI evolution
The new Mercha website was a strategic restructure, not a visual refresh.
The old site was product and supplier led. The new site is platform, use-case and operationally led. The key positioning shift was built into the homepage direction: "Branded merch, made easier to order and manage."
That reframe moved Mercha away from "buy merch" and toward "manage branded merch across your business." It introduced Mercha Hub earlier in the user journey, created clearer pathways for different buyer intents, and gave the site a more scalable structure for future pages and campaigns.
Work included homepage structure, about page, desktop and mobile design, sitemap and navigation guidance, messaging hierarchy, and integration of the existing Mercha brand system.
2. Mercha Hub
Mercha Hub is the client-facing merchandise management portal and the strategic centrepiece of the Mercha platform offer.
It solves the operational problem that grows with every business that buys branded merch at any scale: too many teams, too many artwork versions, too many approval delays, too many reorders starting from scratch.
Hub gives clients a single place to create, approve, order, reorder and manage branded merchandise. It supports product selection, artwork and design approvals, budget approvals, pre-approved company products, team and permission management, brand governance, and inventory visibility.
Incept designed the full UX and UI for the Hub, with applied neuroscience shaping the information architecture and decision flow throughout. Complex portals lose users when the hierarchy is unclear and actions require too much effort. Every screen was designed to reduce that effort and give users a clear path to what they needed to do next.
3. Merch Moments use-case pages
The Merch Moments pages extend the website into use-case-led sales pages.
Rather than showing what Mercha sells, these pages show how Mercha supports specific business moments: staff onboarding, events, client gifting, sales enablement, internal team moments, and campaign or launch packs.
Each page uses a reusable structure: use-case hero, benefits and messaging, client merch gallery, relevant product carousel, pack type carousel, client example, testimonial, and a clear call to action.
This gives Mercha a scalable content system that can grow as new use cases, client examples, and product stories become available.
4. Newsletter design system
Incept built a reusable newsletter template system in Figma using the approved Mercha website and brand design system.
The system includes short-form and long-form layouts built from shared content blocks: header, footer, product module, story module, testimonial module, and CTA module. Both formats share the same core components, so Mercha can rearrange and reuse blocks across different newsletter formats without redesigning each send from scratch.
The newsletter system extends the website design logic into ongoing marketing and gives Mercha a consistent way to communicate product stories, client examples, platform features and campaign content.

Result
Each piece was designed to be reusable and scalable. The website structure can grow without a redesign. The Hub and Trunk experiences reduce operational friction for clients. The Merch Moments pages give Mercha a place to showcase real client proof as it becomes available. The newsletter system removes the design overhead from ongoing communications.
Hard commercial metrics are not yet available. The work is pre-launch at time of writing. Measurable results will be added once the platform is live and data is available.
What is already clear: Mercha now has the design system and platform positioning to tell a more complete story about what the business actually does, one that goes well beyond selling branded merchandise.
Clint's excellent UX/UI work was completed on time, on budget with excellent communication and a quality of work that is second to none. Clint is a pleasure to deal with, I look forward to working with him again.
